Armstrong ArmaSerts

Armstrong ArmaSerts are designed to provide strong metal threads in thermoset & thermoplastic materials. These brass inserts come in 
various knurl and undercut patterns to suit almost any threaded assembly application.  

Installation methods for the Armstrong ArmaSert range of brass inserts include moulding in, cold & hot installation, ultrasonically in 
thermoplastics and via high friction retention in thermosets.  

Heat or Cold Installation

•Brass insert with knurled brass body, internally threaded

Thermoset Insert

•Two piece brass insert suitable for use in thermoset plastics
•Knurled brass body internally threaded
•Integral spreader plate for positive fixing

•Designed to fit in blind, flat bottomed holes

Ultrasonic Installation

•Brass insert designed to give maximum strength in moulded tapered holes
•Knurled and vaned brass body internally threaded
•Specially designed for ultrasonic installation
•Providing high pull-out and torque resistance
•Rapid installation 
•Special design permits automatic feeding
•Can also be installed using heat in many materials

Heat or Ultrasonic Installation

•Brass insert with completely symmetrical body requiring minimal orientation
•Undercuts in body enhances pull-out strength
•Spigot at each end providing initial location in the hole reducing the risk of misalignment
•Reduced moulding assembly scrap through missing inserts
•Ideal for automatic feeding and installation 
•High jack-out torque
